Dog Park Rules

It is important to understand the guidelines and rules that are in place before the dog park opens. This will lead to the success of the park for the users and with the residents who live around the park. Common rules of dog parks include:

  1. Dog Handlers must clean up after their dogs.

  2. Dogs must wear a collar and have a valid dog license.

  3. Dogs must be disease and parasite free.

  4. Dogs in heat will not be allowed in the park.

  5. People must use the park at their own risk.

  6. Handlers shall immediately leash and remove the dog from the park if the dog exhibits aggressive behavior towards other park users or other dogs.
